He is currently attending California Baptist University, working towards his degree in Bible/Theology and Apologetics.
His favorite verse is 1 Timothy 1:15: "This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: 'Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners'—and I am the worst of them all."
Michael likes working with students because it gives him an opportunity to disciple them to love and grow in Christ. "The middle school and high school years are the most crucial times of influence and are a time when students form their own world view. Much more than academic success or any other successes in the workplace, it is pertinent to introduce and stress the gravity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives," Michael remarked. Working with students allows him to disciple them in:
- developing trust in Christ as their Savior,
- building faith on the One who is faithful,
- loving one another,
- spreading the Gospel,
- perseverance and endurance during times of refinement and trial.
"I love working with students because it is my way to serve the Lord by making disciples of all nations," said Michael.
Michael loves his wonderful wife and their two fabulous kids.
